Our mission is to uplift single parents and their children with love, resources and community. We aim to help families not just survive, but flourish and transform their world. We create a familial network incorporating each part of our village in the act of using our skills and resources to support each other in every way we can based on the need at hand.

It takes a village; we are that village.
We believe that the key initiative in aiding children lies in the aid we provide to the parents. Too often we have accepted that the children of single parents would be less successful due to what they were missing from the lack of the other parent; despite the reasoning. We employ the belief that a “broken home” doesn’t exist… and that in fact, it takes a village; so we are that village. We will not lose children to hopelessness or poor decision making due to the lack of foundational resources.
Our organization breeds success and growth for all involved. We have created a space where all people can come together in the name of love and support one another while giving children the pillars they need to build and navigate the world.
Every moment counts.
Each person, donation, skill, and moment counts. With this, our children will not go without their needs or desires. We cover everything from the encouragement and support of family time, hair care for those unable, personal needs for families, household repairs, mentorship, childcare and school shopping assistance because we want no child or parent feeling inadequacy in any form.
We want our scope to remain limitless in the ways we can help. It’s our goal to provide a powerhouse of support services by and for families. We get to know each person so we can utilize every loved one's skills and resources as we continue to fuel, strengthen, and support our families.
ShaBreia Askew's Vision
LoveCentric was founded by ShaBreia Askew, born from her passion for transforming challenges into grand experiences. She was tired of letting the thought of other families suffering keep her up at night. In 2023, we started by offering "baskets of love" to families. These baskets included a prepared meal and disposable dinnerware, aiming to give families back their dinner preparation time and encourage togetherness.
We also included toiletries and other requested necessities. Currently, we provide monthly "baskets of love" and host quarterly family events. We are also expanding our resources to further support families in these and other meaningful ways, which is why your support & donations matter so much.
